Difference between BiOLUX HYDROGEN Water and Kxxgxx Alkaline Water

What is Kxxgxx Water?

Kxxgxx means "return to origin" in Japanese. Kxxgxx Water is produced by Enagic's ionizer and water filtration machines from Japan.

The Electrolyzed Reduced Water (ERW) electrolysis process in the Kxxgxx Water ionizer machines can produce 5 different pH variations or Types of Water.

1. Strong Acid Water (2.5 pH)
2. Beauty Water (6.0 pH)
3. Clean Water (7.0 pH)
4. Kxxgxx Water (8.5 – 9.5 pH)

On the pH scale, a pH above 7 is alkaline. Kxxgxx water has different formulas that have alkaline pH levels ranging from 8.5 to 11.

How does Kxxgxx Machine Work?

Water that has undergone this electrolysis process, has been electrically transformed, and is referred to as Electrolyzed Reduced Water (ERW), ionized alkaline water, alkalized water, and if it has been produced using a Kxxgxx Water Ionizer, it is known as Kxxgxx Water.

ELECTROLYSIS through several electrode plates and membranes, the filtered water is separated into acidic and alkaline parts through electric current. Water molecules (H₂O) are spited into OH- (hydroxide ions) and H+ (HYDROGEN ions).

What is Natural Alkaline Water?

The “alkaline” in alkaline water refers to its pH level. Alkaline water typically has a pH of 8 or 9 that is higher than regular drinking water.

It contains alkaline minerals and negative oxidation reduction potential (ORP). ORP is the ability of water to act as a pro- or antioxidant. It is also important to note that just because something has a negative ORP doesn’t mean it has any physiological antioxidant value.

Minerals that natural alkaline includes are:
Calcium: Bone health, heart, muscle, as well as nerve function are all dependent on it.
Magnesium: It aids in the conversion of food to energy and is required for over 300 metabolic activities in the body.

Water that’s naturally alkaline occurs when water passes over rocks — like springs — and picks up minerals, which increase its alkaline level. However, many people drink alkaline water from alkaline water machine that’s been through a chemical process called electrolysis like ERW.

Why Alkaline Water doesn't Work?

One of the key reasons why the consumption of alkaline water cannot confer the health benefits associated with alkalinity is because you cannot alter the pH of your blood and body this way.

As noted by Fenton:8 "Your body regulates its [blood] pH in a very narrow range because all our enzymes are designed to work at pH 7.4. If our pH varied too much we wouldn't survive."

Your diet, including the water you drink, can however alter the pH of your urine. Urine is typically acidic, with a pH around 6, and this is actually a sign that your kidneys are working properly.

Many people who drink artificial alkaline water (splitting apart the water molecules with electricity to artificially make the water alkaline) had a pH of 9 in their urine. As a result, they will not have any protection against harmful microbes due to high alkaline urine.

Consuming artificial alkaline water in long term will neutralize different acidic fluids in the body. It will affect digestion and absorption of electrolytes. Without key electrolytes, it could potentially create a problem with the heart.

Drinking alkaline water too often or too much can cause the body's normal pH to be disrupted, resulting in metabolic alkalosis, which can cause the following symptoms:

• Muscle twitching
• Tingling in the extremities or face
• Confusion
